Best Eggs in Grow a Chicken Fighter: Egg Tier List (2026)
Community egg tier list for Grow a Chicken Fighter, with progression picks and farm routes for Blazing, Void, Thunder, and more.
Eggs are the whole progression ladder in Grow a Chicken Fighter — each one hatches a pool of chickens, and the best chickens come from the best eggs. This page ranks all 17 egg types by progression value: what the pool can hatch, how hard the egg is to obtain, and when it matters. The complete hatch-rate tables for every egg are on the all eggs page.
The egg tier list
| Tier | Eggs | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Blazing, Void, Thunder | Blazing has the only pool with all the chase rarities; Void holds Nebula Hen; Thunder is free and hatches Astro Chick |
| A | Fortune, Royal, Haunt, Cursed | Each holds a headline pull: Golden Goose, Baron Cluck / Radiant Fenghuang, Reaper Rooster, 404 Chick |
| B | Scratch, Arena, Ordnance, Circuit | Solid mid-game pools with useful layers and route engines (Cosmo Brat, Agent Cluck, Commando Rooster, Taser Hen) |
| C | Bloom, Charm, Diner, Fang, Nest | Situational or early-game pools; useful for routes, weak for endgame |
| — | Grudge | Availability is disputed in community snapshots |
Why are Blazing, Void, and Thunder S tier?
Blazing Egg is the hardest egg to obtain in the community snapshot: no chicken is reported to lay it. It drops from the periodic Hot Egg event in the PIT, where Gamezebo reports that only one player can win each event, plus the one-time 40KCCU code. Its reported pool is high-rarity: Golden Goose (Secret, 25%), 404 Chick (Secret, 8%), Nebula Hen and Reaper Rooster (Cosmic, 2% each), and every Celestial.
Void Egg is an end-game egg in the community snapshot. It is laid by Astro Chick at a reported 70%, and its pool can pay for itself — several pulls lay Void Eggs back, including the Cosmic Nebula Hen jackpot.
Thunder Egg is the best value egg in the game: it is free from the LETMECOOK code, its pool is stacked (Commando Rooster 12%, Astro Chick 11%, Founder Rooster 3%, Aurora Hen 1%), and Astro Chick is the Void route’s doorway.
Which eggs should I farm at each stage?
- First session (codes): WELCOME (Nest), 40KCCU (Blazing), LETMECOOK (Thunder), SERGIOVERSE (Scratch) — four free eggs, zero grinding. Redeem steps on the codes page.
- Early game: hatch the code eggs, then chase Scratch and Thunder routes. Cosmo Brat (Scratch, 100% lay, ~2 min 40 sec cycle) is the fastest egg factory in the game; Sergeant Hen (Thunder, 100% lay) keeps that branch self-feeding.
- Mid game: move up to Royal and Fortune. Crest Rooster lays Royal Eggs (60%) and Baron Cluck lays Fortune Eggs (100%) — Fortune’s pool is 56% Founder Rooster plus the Secret Golden Goose.
- End game: farm Void, Haunt, and Cursed for the chase rarities, and never skip a Hot Egg event for Blazing Eggs.
- Grudge: do not spend resources based on a fixed availability claim; community snapshots disagree about whether it is obtainable.
How do you get the top eggs?
- Codes — LETMECOOK (Thunder), 40KCCU (Blazing), SERGIOVERSE (Scratch), WELCOME (Nest). All active as of August 15, 2026.
- Laying chains — park the right layer and let offline production do the work: Cosmo Brat → Scratch, Sergeant Hen → Thunder, Baron Cluck → Fortune, Astro Chick → Void. See the fast eggs guide for the full layer table.
- Hot Egg event — the reported in-game source of Blazing Eggs. Check the event prompt and current rules when it starts.
- Fusion — a strong Fertility Gene lets a fused chicken lay more egg types, compounding every route; see the Fertility Gene guide.
Best eggs FAQ
Which egg should I hatch first? Thunder Egg — it is free from LETMECOOK, has an 11% Astro Chick, and its pool is strong enough to carry your first TOWER floors.
Is the Blazing Egg worth chasing? Yes, if you can attend the Hot Egg event. It is the only egg with a 25% Golden Goose and the only reliable home of every chase rarity. The 40KCCU code gives one free Blazing Egg per account.
Which egg hatches the best chicken? Blazing Egg (Golden Goose, 404 Chick, Nebula Hen, Reaper Rooster) has the strongest overall pool, but Haunt Egg (<1% Reaper Rooster) and Cursed Egg (<1% 404 Chick) are the farmable doors to the S-tier chickens. See the chicken tier list for the other side of this equation.
Do egg pools change? Yes — the game updates frequently (most recently August 12, 2026) and pools shift with patches. We re-check this page after updates; last checked August 15, 2026.
